Oppo has introduced (for now only to the Indian market) a new, inexpensive Oppo A3 5G smartphone, distinguished by high durability.
Oppo A3 5G - although it looks quite ordinary - boasts "military" resistance to falls, compliant with the MIL-DTS-810H category, and also offers quite decent resistance to liquids and dust, IP54. It also has a good battery, with a capacity of 5100 mAh, 45-watt charging and a charger included. A 6.67-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of up to a thousand nits would also be nice - but unfortunately, it only has HD+ resolution. Similarly, the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM would also be a good solution, but unfortunately the set comes with 128 GB of slow eMMC 5.1 memory.
Going further, we have a decent camera with a 50-megapixel matrix and f/1.8 aperture, but the front camera has only 5 megapixels and f/2.2 aperture, so selfies will be only OK at best. The second rear eyelet is probably just a background blurr, as there is no mention of it in the specification - it may as well be a dummy. However, it was mentioned that the smartphone can record videos in Full HD: 60 fps with the rear and 30 fps with the front. Fortunately, the smartphone has a microSD card slot, a minijack, a volume booster and a fingerprint reader. The system is Android 14 with the ColorOS 14.0.1 interface, and the dimensions of the smartphone are 165.7x76x7.7 mm and weighs 187 g. Oppo A3 5G is valued at PLN 16,000 rupees, which is $190.
