Today, Motorola announced the launch of its new smartphones from the Edge and Moto G series. We got to know the models: Motorola Edge 50 Neo, Edge 50, Motorola Moto G55 and Motorola Moto G35.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo

The star of the launch show was of course the Motorola Edge 50 Neo, debuting as one of the few smartphones on the market with truly compact dimensions. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a small, 6.4-inch display, but made in pOLED technology, providing high brightness up to 3000 nits, nice colors and good contrast. The screen has a resolution of 1.5K (460 ppi) with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, as well as a hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.4). The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, and the entire housing is IP68 waterproof and MIL-STD 810H certified. On the back, we find a 50-megapixel Sony LYT700C main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, as well as a 13-megapixel wide-angle (f/2.2, 120 degrees and macro) and a 10-megapixel camera with a 3x telephoto lens (f/2.0). Importantly, the main and tele cameras have optical image stabilization. The heart of the smartphone is the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 processor, supported by LPDDR4X and uMCP memories, and powered by a 4310 mAh battery with 68 W charging and 15-watt induction. The equipment is complemented by stereo speakers. The system is Android 14, with a promise of five version updates and 5 years of security support in a two-month cycle. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is available in four spectacular colours prepared by Pantone: Pantone Nautical Blue, Pantone Latte, Pantone Poinciana and Pantone Grisaille. The smartphone measures 154.1 x 71.2 x 8.1 mm and weighs 171 g. The price of this model is 499 euros.
