When we talk about a flip phone, we currently mean a smartphone with a flexible screen. But the category of ordinary phones still exists and new models are constantly appearing. Itel Flip One shows that even a cheap and simple phone can look modern.
Itel Flip One is a product of a brand popular in India and belonging to the Transsion concern, which also includes the well-known brands Infinix and Tecno in Poland. Itel Flip One remains exclusively on the Indian market for now, but I liked it so much that I decided to show it to you. Simple phones usually do not impress with their aesthetics - they have classic shapes and rarely stand out from other, similar models. In the case of itel Flip One, it is different. This phone can easily be confused with a modern smartphone with a flexible screen - of course, before we open the flip. The fashionable, sharp lines of the housing and colourful panels with imitation leather covering the surface of the flap may appeal.

On the outside of the flip, however, we will only see a single VGA camera with an LED diode, imitating a second lens. After opening the flip, a 2.4-inch OVGA display appears, and below - a flat numeric keypad. This phone has Bluetooth, FM radio, a player and everything else that such a simple featurephone should have. It is powered by a 1200 mAh battery charged via USB-C, which is supposed to provide a week of operation of the device. The price is 2.5 thousand rupees, which is $30.
