The Acer brand has almost disappeared from the smartphone market - but it is still trying to survive and fight for new markets. This time it was India, where the Acerone Liquid S162E4 and Acerone Liquid S272E4 are making their debut.
Acer announced its return to the Indian smartphone market last summer, building the structures of its subsidiary Acerpure in this paradise and creating the Acerone smartphone line. The Acerone Liquid S162E4 and Acerone Liquid S272E4 are the first models to hit the Indian market. These smartphones are manufactured locally in India by Indkal Technologies, a company that has been cooperating with Acer for years with the support of the Indian government.
Acer Acerone Liquid S162E4 has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display, behind Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The screen has a hole for a 5-megapixel selfie camera, while the rear camera has a 16-megapixel matrix and a background blur. The heart of the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio P35 processor, supported by modest 4+64 GB memory, and the power is provided by a 5000 mAh battery. The device measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.95 mm and weighs 179 g.

Acer Acerone Liquid S272E4 is slightly larger, with a 6.7-inch screen, but still an HD+ LCD. As in the smaller model, the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and the selfie camera is a 5-megapixel camera. The rear camera has grown to 20 megapixels, and the accompanying background blur has VGA resolution instead of qVGA. This model is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 processor, but the memory and battery are the same as in the smartphone described earlier. Both smartphones use the Android 14 operating system. The Liquid S272E4 measures 171 x 78.6 x 8.9 mm and weighs 200 g. Prices have not been announced yet - but these devices do not look expensive.
