The Oppo A5 smartphone family has expanded today with the new Oppo A5 5G and Oppo A5 Vitality Edition models. What do they offer?

Oppo A5 5G received a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and a 6.7-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh. The screen has a hole for an 8-megapixel selfie camera, while 50+2 Mpx cameras are mounted on the back. The smartphone is powered by a 6500 mAh battery with 45-watt charging. Oppo A5 5G runs on Android 15 with the ColorOS 15 overlay and is IP69-rated. The smartphone is offered in three colours and the following memory kits:

- 8+256GB - 1499 yuan, 210 USD

Oppo A5 Vitality Edition is the equivalent of Oppo A5 Pro known from Taiwan - but debuts in mainland China. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and a 6.67-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh. It is powered by a 5800 mAh battery with 45-watt charging, and the photographic package looks familiar: 8 megapixels on the front, 50+2 on the back. This model is also sealed according to the IP69 certificate and can be had in three colours. The price list is as follows:
