The style known from Apple smartphones has many imitators, which have just been joined by the Lava Shark presented in India - much more modest, but also much cheaper than the popular iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Lava Shark has a 6.67-inch flat LCD display with HD+ resolution with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an 8 Mpx selfie camera, and on the back there is a 50 Mpx main camera and an auxiliary sensor for blurring the background. Its 5000 mAh battery can last for a long time, although charging at 18 W will not fill it particularly quickly. The processor is the Unisoc T606, and it is accompanied by the Android 14 operating system, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded by 256 GB with a microSD card. Despite the name reminiscent of a shark, the smartphone will not be able to dive, but the IP54 tightness will offer it adequate resistance to dust and water for a budget device.
