Samsung has introduced Galaxy devices for special tasks: Galaxy XCover 7 Pro smartphone and Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro tablet.
The new models are designed for demanding work environments. They offer military-grade durability and features useful in the field and beyond. Both devices have a screen projection function (Samsung DeX), so they can display the image on an external monitor so that the user can work as if on a computer. Users can seamlessly move between mobile and stationary environments while working. Security remains a key aspect of the latest Galaxy devices – Samsung Knox Vault protects sensitive data with advanced encryption and authentication that meets enterprise security standards. Real-time Kernel Protection and Defeat Exploit Eliminator provide protection at both the kernel and application layer, while Warranty Bit detects tampering and restricts access to sensitive applications such as the Work Profile, helping to maintain a trusted device environment.
Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, supported by 6+128 GB of memory, with the option of using a microSD card. This model is powered by a 4350 mAh battery, also charged using pins on the housing - adapted to work with docking stations. The smartphone offers IP68 tightness class and military durability MIL-STD-810H, it has also been tested for resistance to disinfectants. The smartphone has a 6.6-inch LCD screen with Full HD + resolution, with the option of increasing the brightness and operating with gloves up to 2 mm thick. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus +. The phone is equipped with stereo speakers, as well as two configurable buttons and a push-to-talk function and eSIM or NFC. Photos are taken by the main, 50-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 13-megapixel selfie camera. The European price of this smartphone is 609 euros.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro tablet has a 10.1-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, and the panel brightness reaches 600 nits. There is also support for the S Pen stylus. Here too, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and a microSD slot are used, and the memory versions offered are 6+128 and 8+256 GB. The tablet is powered by a 10100 mAh battery with the option of hot-swapping, without turning off the tablet. There is also direct power supply, without a battery. In addition, the tablet is equipped with a front NFC reader, which increases the tablet's usability in trade. Enabling hassle-free mobile payments, the tablet can effectively act as a mobile point of sale system (mPOS) in both retail stores and restaurants. The tablet provides IP68 tightness, MIL-STD-810H durability and resistance to sanitary agents. The tablet has a 5G modem, a mini-jack and programmable keys, as well as stereo speakers. The equipment is complemented by cameras: 12 Mpx on the back and 8 Mpx on the front. Prices for the tablet will start at 809 euros.
