Samsung Galaxy M56 5G debuted in India today. It is a typical mid-ranger, but stands out with its slim casing and long support.
Samsung Galaxy M56 5G is only 7.2 mm thick and weighs 180 g. However, it has a 5000 mAh battery inside with fast, for Samsung, 45-watt charging. The smartphone is based on the Exynos 1480 processor, supported by LPDDR5x and UFS 3.1 memory. The front is occupied by a 6.74-inch Super AMOLED+ display with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, but with higher brightness and narrower bezels than the previous model. The front and back of the phone are covered with Gorilla Glass Victus+, and the whole thing is connected by a metal frame.
There is a hole in the screen for a 12-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.2), while the back has a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture. The set of rear cameras is complemented by an 8-megapixel wide-angle and 2-megapixel macro. There are two colours to choose from, and Android 15 is the system with the promise of 6 years of support. The smartphone in the 8+128 GB version is to cost 25 thousand rupees, or $ 295.
