Oppo has revealed details about the global variants of the Oppo A5 and Oppo A5x models. The former will be released in 4G and 5G variants, differing in processor and a few details.
Oppo A5 and Oppo A5 5G
As I mentioned, the Oppo A5 will be released in LTE and 5G variants. The smartphones share most of their specifications. They have a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a brightness of up to a thousand nits, differing only in the refresh rate: 90 Hz in the 4G version and 120 Hz in 5G. The screens are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. At their top are the holes for the selfie cameras: 8-megapixel f/2.0 in 5G and 5-megapixel f/2.2 in 4G. The back has the same 50-megapixel main cameras with an f/1.8 aperture, supported by 2-megapixel background blurring. Power is provided by 6000 mAh batteries with 45-watt charging. The 5G model has a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 memory in capacities of 4+128, 6+128 and 8+256 GB, while the 4G model has a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 processor and LPDDR4X and UFS 2.1 memory offered in sets of 6+128, 8+128, 4+256 and 8+256 GB. Both models are IP65 sealed.

Oppo A5x
The Oppo A5x also has a 6.67-inch HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a brightness of 1,000 nits, just like the base Oppo A5. Similarly, it uses the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 processor and LPDDR4X and UFS 2.1 memory in capacities of 4+64, 4+128, 6.128 and 8+128 GB, as well as a 6000 mAh battery with 45W charging. However, the model with the "ix" differs from the basic A5 in terms of cameras. It has only a 5-megapixel f/2.2 and a 32-megapixel f/1.8 on the back. The tightness, invariably, remains at the IP65 level, and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
