ZTE has introduced the next installment of the Axon series. What does the ZTE Axon 50 offer, apart from its unique appearance?
ZTE Axon 50 looks quite interesting. It has a screen with curved edges and a clearly accentuated camera bezel. The sides of the rear panel are also curved, creating slim sides, while the top and bottom walls are flat, which in turn contrasts with the rounded corners of the screen and the glass covering the rear panel. The frame is, of course, metal. The ZTE Axon 50 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and Full HD+ resolution, with 10-bit colors and a brightness of a thousand nits. The heart of the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, supported by 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory. Power is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with 80-watt charging.
ZTE Axon 50 has a triple camera, with a main 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 sensor, equipped with optical image stabilization. The set is completed by two 50-megapixel cameras - a wide-angle with a macro function and a 3x telephoto. The smartphone also has a set of 13 antennas, advanced L1+L5 GNSS navigation and an infrared transmitter. Its price in China is 1,800 yuan, or $250.
