The Motorola Moto G66j smartphone debuted in distant Japan, which may be a preview of the Moto G66 model, which will also come to us.
Of course, the Motorola Moto G66j model designation clearly indicates that this is a model intended exclusively for the Japanese market and there is no information as to how - as the Moto G66 - this smartphone would appear outside Japan. But actually - why not? For now, let's take a look at what the model has to offer for the Japanese - with the emphasis that its global equivalent does not have to be identical.

Motorola Moto G66j has a 6.7-inch LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, as well as a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor, paired with 8+128 GB of memory. The internal memory can be expanded with a 2 TB microSD card. Power is provided by a 5200 mAh battery with 30-watt charging, and the system is of course Android 15. The main camera is a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 600 matrix with a lens with an f/1.8 aperture, supported by an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/2.2). The front camera has a 32-megapixel matrix and an f/2.2 aperture. The housing measuring 165.75 x 76.26 x 8.50 mm and looking typical of this year's Moto G comes in three colors, is IP68/69 waterproof and has military durability with a MIL-STD-810H certificate. In Japan, this model costs 34,800 yen, or $235. In the Japanese Ymobile network, the device will be offered under the name Motorola Moto G66y.
