The Nothing brand has just officially presented its new smartphone, proving that they have no shortage of ideas. We have already had the opportunity to take a closer look at it.
The main novelties of the Nothing Phone (3) are immediately striking - three rear cameras instead of the previous two and a Glyph Matrix diode matrix instead of the previous elongated glyphs. From a distance, it may look less spectacular, but its practicality is incomparable - it is practically an additional display, although maintained in a specific style. Among the possibilities it offers, you can find both simple functions such as a timer and notifications, as well as more advanced ones, such as a compass and a photo preview, allowing you to take selfies with the rear cameras. There are also less useful but equally pleasing to the eye functions such as a game of spin the bottle, a game of rock-paper-scissors or simply decorative animations. Using them will be made easier by a dedicated side button.

An equally important element of the Nothing Phone (3) is its set of cameras - the phone has four of them in total, three at the back and one at the front, all with a resolution of 50 Mpx. Compared to the main camera of the Nothing Phone 2, the one in the new model has a larger size of 1/1.3 inches, a 70% faster exposure speed and collects 44% more light, which will translate into sharper photos with better reproduced details. The biggest novelty on the back, however, is the periscope telephoto lens, like the main camera equipped with OIS, enabling 3x optical zoom and 6x lossless zoom, and it can also be used to take macro photos. A nice touch in keeping with the Nothing aesthetic is the square LED that signals video recording, which can be recorded in 4K resolution at 60 FPS with XDR colours.
The Nothing Phone (3) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, which offers 36% better CPU performance, 88% better graphics performance, and 60% better AI performance compared to the Nothing Phone 2. Its 5150mAh battery supports 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, and there is also 7.5W reverse wired charging and 5W inductive charging.

The Nothing Phone (3) has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 px with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 10-bit color, a typical brightness of 800 nits, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and IP68 sealing protects against dust and water immersion.
The Nothing Phone (3) will go on sale globally on July 4, and the new smartphone will hit stores on July 15. There will be white and black color variants to choose from, as well as two memory versions - 12+256 GB for £799, and 16+512 GB for £899.
