Redmi 15C now on sale

A few days ago, we learned quite a bit about the new Redmi 15C. This budget smartphone has already gone on sale in Italy.

Thanks to the publication from an Italian store, we can verify earlier information about the new Redmi 15C and also see the smartphone in all its colour variants. This model will be available in four versions, and with two memory options: 4+128 and 4+256 GB. It will be an affordable smartphone with an attractive design. The new model features a 6.9-inch IPS screen with HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as a MediaTek Helio G81 processor.

The Redmi 15C also features a 6,000 mAh battery with 33-watt charging, and two cameras: a 13-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel rear camera, supported by an additional, unspecified sensor. The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, DualSIM, and NFC, while the housing offers IP64 water resistance. The smartphone measures 173.16 x 81.07 x 8.2 mm and weighs 205 g. We previously knew that the 4+128 GB variant would cost €129 in Europe, while the 4+256 GB variant would cost €149. The Italian store essentially confirms these prices, although they are slightly higher there, at €133.9 and €154.9. This may be due to different tax rates or simply a retailer margin. In any case, the official manufacturer launch is likely just days away.
