Vivo's "Y" family has just expanded with another model. Vivo Y04s is a typical representative of the budget segment. Attractive, affordable, but not impressive in terms of features.
Vivo Y04s is available in two attractive colors, although it has a rather simple, budget-friendly design. The front is the least impressive. The 6.74-inch LCD screen has a rather wide bezel at the bottom and a no-longer-fashionable teardrop notch housing a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The screen operates in HD+ resolution, refreshes at 90 Hz, and achieves a brightness of 570 nits. Under the screen is a Unisoc T612 processor, supported by LPDDR4X and eMMC5.1 memory, offered in a rather meager 4+64 GB configuration. As a consolation, RAM can be expanded by a virtual 4 GB, and data storage can be expanded with a microSD card. Regardless of the card, you can also use DualSIM, as there are three slots. The smartphone runs Android 14 with the Funtouch OS 14 overlay.

Power is provided by a 6000 mAh battery that charges at 15W. The rear camera has a 13-megapixel sensor, an f/2.2 aperture, and an additional f/3.0 QVGA sensor for portraits. The 167.30 x 76.95 x 8.19 mm casing is IP64-rated, and the smartphone weighs 202 g. The price is 1.4 million Indonesian rupiah, or $85. Technically, the Vivo Y04s is almost a clone of the Vivo Y04 4G – it only has a larger battery and a single memory variant (for now).
