It's here! We finally made it! The first flagship smartphone with a massive battery has just debuted! Meet iQOO Z10 Turbo+, a "Turbo" smartphone in virtually every respect.
I won't deny that iQOO Z10 Turbo+ didn't exactly impress me with its specifications. I hope it proves as impressive in the real world as it does on paper. And on paper, it's truly impressive. First of all, as I mentioned, it has a massive 8000 mAh battery with adequately fast, if less record-breaking, 90-watt charging. There's no induction, but why would you need it with such a large capacity? It's worth noting that the phone is neither thick nor heavy – it measures 163.72 x 75.88 x 8.16 mm and weighs 212 g – which is, of course, thanks to the new silicon-carbon power technology. But that's just the beginning. Near the battery, we find a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, along with fast LPDDR5X Ultra 9600 Mbps and UFS 4.1 memory with considerable capacities. No expense was spared on the display either. The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen has a resolution of 1260x2800 pixels and refreshes at up to 144 Hz. Peak point brightness reaches 5500 nits, and maximum brightness reaches 3000 nits. 4320 Hz PWM dimming and 3000 Hz touch sampling, all behind SGS glass. It's hard to find more impressive specifications.
A slightly less impressive aspect of the new iQOO is its cameras. The front camera has 16 megapixels and an f/2.45 aperture, while the rear features a "classic" 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.79 lens and optical image stabilization, alongside an 8-megapixel f/2.2 wide-angle camera. The smartphone, of course, supports 5G and also offers Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity with support for codecs up to LHDC 5.0. Stereo speakers and an infrared transmitter are the icing on the cake. Everything is managed by the Android 15 operating system with the OriginOS 5 interface. Think a smartphone configured this way is incredibly expensive? Not necessarily... the following pricing is expected in China:
