The Indian brand Lava has just unveiled another Apple-inspired budget smartphone, this time offering 5G connectivity.
The new phone shares many similarities with previous models in this series. Visually, it resembles the Lava Bold N1 Pro, inspired by the iPhone 16 Pro Max, but its camera specs are more similar to the Lava Bold N1 – 13 MP on the rear, 5 MP on the front. The selfie camera is located in a notch above the display, and the screen itself is a 6.75-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
A key element of the Lava Bold N1 5G is the UniSoc T765 processor, also known as the UniSoc T8200. The integrated modem enables 5G connectivity and is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of file storage. RAM can be expanded by 4 GB of virtual RAM and 1 TB of internal storage via a microSD card. The Lava Bold N1 5G has a 5000 mAh battery and supports 18W charging, although the included charger only charges at 10W. The phone starts with Android 15, and the manufacturer promises one major system update and two years of security patches. The smartphone also features a fingerprint reader on the side button, a 3.5mm audio jack, and partial dust and water resistance certified by IP54.
