HMD's Indian branch officially introduced the new smartphone HMD Vibe 5G, along with two simple phones: HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G.
HMD Vibe 5G is a simple and affordable 5G smartphone with equally simple styling, enhanced by LED lighting around the camera. These serve as a camera flash and also serve as a notification system. The cameras, however, are quite basic – a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portraits. On the front, there's an 8-megapixel selfie camera, housed in a punch-hole on the 6.67-inch LC display with HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T760 processor, supported by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It's powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging. The smartphone also has a minijack, stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and the Android 15 operating system with two years of support. The device is priced in India at 12,000 rupees, or $136.
