The much-anticipated Redmi 15R 5G has already been officially launched in China. How much is it priced?

We've already learned the specifications of the Redmi 15R 5G, thanks to the Chinese carrier. It seems nothing has changed along the way. Redmi 15R 5G features a 6.9-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 650 nits of brightness, and Wet Touch 2.0 technology, allowing for wet operation. The smartphone is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 6300 processor, supported by LPDDR4X+UFS 2.2 memory and managed by the HyperOS 2 operating system based on Android 15. The smartphone also features a simple camera setup: 13 megapixels on the rear and 5 megapixels on the front. A highlight of the specifications is the 6000 mAh battery with 33-watt charging, and the presence of a minijack and microSD slot is also worth noting. Four body colours are available: Cloud White, Lime Green, Twilight Purple, and Star Rock Black.

The Redmi 15R 5G measures 171.56 x 79.47 x 7.99 mm and weighs 205 g. This smartphone, although designed as a budget phone, is available in a wide range of memory variants:

As you can see, although the price list starts at a budget level, adequate to the specifications, in the most powerful memory variants it unfortunately exceeds the requirements for this class and ceases to make much sense - considering the smartphone's capabilities... For over 2,000 yuan, you can find better-equipped models in China - although perhaps with slightly less memory.
