Shortly after its launch in Africa, Samsung Galaxy A17 4G has entered European showrooms. How is it priced?
In Nigeria, the 6+128 GB model costs the equivalent of $179. In Europe, the same version costs €199. No matter how you convert, it's more expensive, but still cheaper than the 5G model. In reality, the two versions differ only in their processors: the 5G has an Exynos 1330, while the LTE model features a MediaTek Helio G99. Everything else is similar. It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a 5000 mAh battery with 25-watt charging. The Samsung Galaxy A17 4G also has a 50-megapixel main camera with optical stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/2.2), and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, there's a 13-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It also features a microSD card slot, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and IP54 sealing. The smartphone measures 166.4 x 77.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs 192 g.
