Vivo V60 is a clone of the Vivo S30, but the new Vivo V60 Lite 5G differs slightly... although not everything is as it seems.
The new Vivo smartphone has already gone on sale in Taiwan. Its specifications are notable for the presence of a new processor called the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo, but a closer look at the information on the Mediatek website reveals that its parameters are identical to last year's Mediatek Dimensity 7300. Smartphone manufacturers aren't the only ones who sometimes release the same device under two different names!
Aside from the processor's strange naming, the Vivo V60 Lite 5G's specifications are unquestionable – it's a decent mid-range smartphone, similar in both appearance and internals to the entry-level Vivo V60. The difference is the aforementioned processor, as well as a more modest camera setup – there's no telephoto lens on the back, and the front camera has a resolution of 32 MP. The main camera, a 50 MP Sony IMX882 with OIS, and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera remain unchanged. The operating system is still the now-outdated Android 15 with the Funtouch OS 15 interface.
From the base model, Vivo V60 Lite 5G also inherits a battery with an attractive 6500 mAh capacity, charging at 90 W, and a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4 are also present. Water resistance is less impressive than the Vivo V60, this time confirmed only by an IP65 certification. The phone is 7.59 or 7.69 mm thick, depending on the color version, and weighs 194 grams.
