Although OnePlus 15 hasn't been announced yet, it already has a copycat. The budget Itel A100C looks all too similar!
The fact that cheaper brands try to make their budget smartphones resemble flagship models from the most popular manufacturers is nothing new. It's just that Apple and Samsung models are mostly imitated... Meanwhile, Itel has decided to make its new model similar to unannounced OnePlus and Oppo models! The back of the Itel A100C closely resembles the new OnePlus, although its styling is hard to call original. The goal of this approach is obvious – it's meant to make the owner of a budget smartphone feel like they have a flagship... Although, of course, the Itel A100C isn't a flagship.

The Itel A100C is a budget model with a 6.6-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and up to 400 nits of brightness. At the heart of the new Itel is the Unisoc T7100 processor, supported by 2, 3, or 4 GB of RAM (and 4-8 GB of virtual RAM) and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 15 Go with the itel OS 15 overlay. It also includes basic 5- and 8-megapixel cameras and is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone also features an infrared transmitter, DTS speakers, and UltraLink, enabling voice communication via Bluetooth (with compatible devices). The housing meets the MIL-STD-810H mechanical durability standard, and access is secured by a fingerprint reader on the side. The itel A100C will certainly be cheaper than the new OnePlus, although it only shares its rear panel design. However, it has something that even surpasses the flagship OnePlus – it is available in a wider range of housing colours!
