Shortly after the launch of the Moto G100, its spin-off variant, the Motorola Moto G100s, is making its debut in China. What makes it stand out?
Motorola Moto G100s is a model almost identical to the Moto G100, which was unveiled in October. It has the same 6.72-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, as well as the same processor – the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, supported by 8GB of RAM. The new model is identical to the previous model in terms of battery life – it still boasts a 7,000mAh capacity and 30W charging. A change for the worse – read: cheaper – is seen in the selfie camera – it drops from 32MP to 8MP. On the back, however, the 50MP main camera remains, along with an 8MP wide-angle camera. The smartphone, as always, features a side-mounted fingerprint reader, NFC, stereo speakers, and IP64 waterproofing. The case is available in black or blue. The Motorola Moto G100s is available with 128 or 256 GB of internal memory for 999 and 1099 yuan, respectively, or $140-155. This is cheaper than the 1399 yuan ($199) Moto G100. So, if you don't take many selfies in China, you can easily save a lot by choosing the cheaper "100"... It's a shame, but none of the Moto G100 models are likely to come to Europe...
