The Oppo A6 smartphone debuted in China, and it doesn't stand out in any way except for its robust battery.
Oppo A6 5G doesn't impress with either its appearance or specifications. Both are simply adequate and painfully ordinary. The new model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, supported by LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 memory, and also features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch, and up to 1400 nits of brightness. There's also a microSD card slot, an under-screen fingerprint reader, Dual SIM and NFC, and stereo speakers. The camera section features a 16-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a 23mm equivalent focal length, and a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 27mm focal length, supported by a 2-megapixel background blur. The smartphone's casing is available in three colors and offers IP66, IP68, and IP69 water resistance ratings. Most importantly, Oppo A6 5G is powered by a solid 7000 mAh battery that charges quite quickly at 80W. Despite all this, it's 8mm thick and weighs 185g. The following variants are available in China:
- 8+256GB - 1599 yuan, $225
- 12+256GB - 1899 yuan, $270
- 12+512GB - 2099 yuan, $295
