As previously announced, Lava has announced the Lava Agni 4. What does the new smartphone offer and how is it priced?
Lava Agni 4 stands out with its attractive, horizontal camera bezel with symmetrically arranged lenses and LED flashes. The smartphone is available in black and white, and the casing is held together by a metal frame. A programmable additional key has been added to the side of the casing, and the whole thing is IP64-rated. The front is occupied by a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a screen brightness of 2400 nits. A fingerprint reader is mounted under the screen (behind Corning Gorilla Glass 5). At the heart of the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, supported by 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, and cooled by a large vapor chamber.

The smartphone has a 50-megapixel Samsung SK5JN1 selfie camera and a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (f/1.88, 1/1.55"). There's also an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera (112 degrees), and all three can record 4K videos at 60 fps. The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 66-watt charging, while the operating system is pure Android 15 with the promise of three updates and four years of security support. The system is enhanced with the Vayu AI assistant and a suite of artificial intelligence features, and the equipment is rounded out by stereo speakers, an FM radio, and an infrared transmitter. Lava Agni 4 costs 25 thousand rupees, or $280.
