Honor has unveiled its new semi-flagships, the spiritual successors to the Honor GT series. The Honor Win and Honor Win RT may not surpass flagships in some respects, but they do have several advantages that make them more attractive than any flagship!

The Honor Win and Honor Win RT feature impressive, large, flat 6.83-inch OLED displays with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 185 Hz! The screens reach up to 6000 nits of brightness, feature 5920 Hz PWM dimming, and HDR10+ support, while hidden beneath them are ultrasonic fingerprint sensors. The smartphones feature fast LPDDR5X Ultra and UFS 4.1 memory, as well as 25,000 RPM fans to aid cooling. Both run the Android 16 operating system with the MagicOS 10 interface, and include stereo speakers, NFC, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and infrared emitters. The housings are IP68/IP69/IP69K rated. A huge advantage of the Honor Win series models – literally – is their 10,000 mAh silicon-carbon batteries. The batteries charge at 100W, and the main model – the Honor Win – also offers 80-watt induction and 27-watt reverse charging.

What's the difference between the Honor Win and Honor Win RT? Besides induction, the smartphones also differ in their processors and cameras. The Honor Win has the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while the Honor Win RT has the older Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both smartphones feature 50-megapixel selfie cameras (f/2.0) and main cameras with 50-megapixel 1/1.56 sensors with optical image stabilization (f/1.95). Both also feature 12-megapixel wide-angle cameras (f/2.2, 112 degrees), but only the Honor Win has a 50-megapixel camera with a 3x telephoto lens (f/2.4 with OIS), which the RT model lacks.

How much do the Honor Win and Honor Win RT cost? Each model is available in three colours, and the memory options are as follows:

  • Honor Win RT 12 + 256 GB - 2699 yuan, $385
  • Honor Win RT 16 + 256 GB - 2999 yuan, $425
