The highly anticipated Xiaomi 17 Ultra, a camera smartphone, debuted in China today. However, it didn't arrive alone – it's accompanied by the new Xiaomi Watch 5 smartwatch and the premiere Xiaomi Buds 6 earphones.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a 6.9-inch M10 LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 3500 nits and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen is protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC processor, supported by LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The smartphone runs the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 operating system based on Android 16. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra boasts a 50-megapixel Light Hunter 1050L LOFIC main camera sensor, a 200-megapixel camera with a periscope telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 50-megapixel selfie camera. The telephoto camera offers smooth zooming from 75-100mm, giving a 3.2-4.3x zoom with an f/2.39-2.96 aperture. The device is powered by a 6800 mAh battery and supports 90W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. The smartphone's dimensions are 162.9 x 77.6 x 8.29 mm. Xiaomi's new flagship also features an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, UWB and NFC connectivity, stereo speakers, and IP66/IP68/IP69 waterproofing. The smartphone is also available in a Leica variant, with an exclusive case, additional software filters, and a special kit including a case, lens cap, lanyard, and cleaning cloth. There are four casing colours to choose from and the following memory variants:

The Xiaomi Watch 5 smartwatch features a Snapdragon W5 processor and the industry's first EMG electromyography sensor, offering improved health monitoring features. It analyzes muscle function and detects unwanted contractions. The watch can also perform ECG monitoring and has an eSIM module and gesture control. The Watch 5 has a 1.54-inch AMOLED display, sapphire crystal glass, and a stainless steel case, as well as a 6-day battery life. The base version of the watch costs 1999 yuan, while the eSIM version costs 2299 yuan. This translates to $285/$330.

The Xiaomi Buds 6 earphones feature an in-ear design and a gold-plated driver tuned by Harman, equipped with Snapdragon Sound technology, providing wireless Hi-Res audio playback. The device offers up to 6 hours of battery life on a single charge, which can be extended to 35 hours with the charging case. Four colour options are available, and the price is 699 yuan, or $100.
