Lenovo and Motorola Qira
Qira is a new artificial intelligence solution that works across multiple devices. Unlike traditional chatbot solutions, Lenovo Qira functions as a fully-fledged cross-platform intelligence. Integrated at the system level, the solution ensures continuous operation across PCs, tablets, smartphones, wearables, and other platforms, regardless of changes in the work environment or context of use. Lenovo Qira is integrated at the system level, can proactively offer suggestions, respond immediately when triggered, or sit quietly in the background until needed, adapting to user preferences. It can be invoked naturally by saying "Hey, Qira," pressing a dedicated key, or tapping a fixed interface element. Qira can act on the user's behalf, leveraging device capabilities and local AI (including offline) to efficiently complete tasks. It coordinates actions across apps and devices, manages agents, and moves work forward without the user having to manually control each step. Qira creates a unified knowledge base by integrating user-selected interactions, stored data, and documents from multiple devices, while maintaining user privacy and consent as key design principles. By perceiving and analyzing signals from multiple devices, Qira builds a model of the user's world, understanding context, maintaining experience continuity, and recognizing personalized patterns over time. Qira offers proactive, context-aware suggestions based on what the user is doing at any given moment. These suggestions improve over time, maintaining experience continuity across devices. The system identifies the most relevant next steps, minimizing the number of actions required to complete tasks. From emails and documents to messages and notes, Lenovo Qira supports content creation in the current work environment. The solution understands context and senses tone and intent, helping transform thoughts into polished text without having to start from a blank page or switch between apps. Qira summarizes what happened while you were away, highlights key information, and enables quick and informed return to the task at hand or conversations. Qira supports meetings and conversations with real-time transcription and translation (upon activation), captures key findings, and generates summaries for later use. Its hybrid AI architecture relies on local processing, ensuring data remains on the device, while secure cloud services extend the system's capabilities while maintaining strong security and user control. The solution will be available as Lenovo Qira on Lenovo devices and Motorola Qira on Motorola devices, providing a single personal AI system that runs across a variety of products and hardware forms. The first rollouts on select Lenovo devices are planned for Q1 2026, with subsequent expansion to Motorola smartphones and automatic OTA updates for Lenovo AI Now users.
