A week ago, we got acquainted with the Oppo A6 4G, and now it's joined the ranks with a new variant. This time, it's not a complete clone!
The new budget smartphone Oppo A6s 4G turned out to be identical to the existing model, and Oppo A6s 5G, just unveiled on the manufacturer's website, also shares a lot with other models in this series, but it stands out in a few details. Its most attractive feature is the capacious 7000 mAh battery that charges at 80W using SUPERVOOC technology. Its IP69 dust and waterproof rating also bodes well. Oppo also boasts a 3900 mm² SuperCool VC vapor chamber and a 5-year warranty for smooth operation.
The remaining specifications of Oppo A6s 5G are less impressive. The rounded square rear camera array echoes the style of the flagship OnePlus 15, but the camera setup is necessarily much more modest – there's a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2 MP monochrome camera, and a 16 MP f/2.4 selfie camera in a punch-hole design on the front. Its display is a 6.75-inch LCD with a resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels, a maximum brightness of 1125 nits, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It's powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage are available in three variants: 6+128 GB, 8+128 GB, and 8+256 GB, with the option to expand the internal storage with a microSD card. In addition to 5G connectivity, the Oppo A6s 5G offers Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4, and in some regions, NFC.
