The Oppo A6 smartphone family already includes a dozen or so models - and that's not all. Oppo A6c has just debuted in China.
Barely a dozen or so hours have passed since launch of the latest Oppo A6 variants, and another one has already appeared. Similar – of course – to the others. It's a real challenge to anyone who can tell the individual models from the Oppo A6 family apart by their appearance! The only differences are in the colours. It won't be easy to determine the specifications either. The recently unveiled mid-range phones are similar in this respect too – but not identical. So what will we find in the new Oppo A6c?

Oppo A6c – like many models in this series – features a 6.75-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, albeit with a 120 Hz refresh rate. We've also seen the processor in this series before – the Snapdragon 685, supported by LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 memory and powered by a 6500 mAh battery. The cameras are just as modest as the rest: a 5-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel main camera, both with f/2.2 apertures. The smartphone was announced in China, where it costs 899 yuan for the 6+128 GB version. Converted, that's $130. Two color options are available. This model is virtually identical to the recently unveiled Oppo A6t and Oppo A6x – so it could be considered a local variant for the Chinese market. Why Oppo is so prolific with its model lineup remains a secret of the company's marketing department...
