The much-anticipated, slim smartphone from Infinix has officially launched. What will tempt buyers of the Infinix Note Edge?
Infinix Note Edge attracts attention with its sleek, lightweight design. The smartphone weighs only 185g and is 7.2mm thick, and the impression of slimness is enhanced by the curves of the display. Despite this, a fairly large battery has been fitted inside – 6500 or 6150 mAh – depending on the market. The battery charges at 45W in just over an hour, and its lifespan is estimated at 2,000 cycles or 6 years of use. Speaking of durability, the smartphone runs Android 16 with the XOS 16 overlay and will receive three updates and 5 years of security support. The casing is IP65-rated. Its front is occupied by a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 4500 nits of brightness (typical 700 nits), surrounded by a 1.78-millimeter bezel and protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

The promising, large camera frame, somewhat reminiscent of the iPhone in style, hides only a single camera – a 50-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 0.8 μm pixels, powered by AI. Selfies are taken by a 13-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an 82-degree field of view. At the heart of the smartphone is the new MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, supported by LPDDR5X and UFS 2.2 memory, available in 8+128 and 8+256 GB configurations, along with 8 GB of virtual RAM. The smartphone has a configurable One-Tap Button and stereo speakers from JBL. It's available in four colours: Lunar Titanium, Silk Green, Stellar Blue, and Shadow Black, and Infinix Note Edge prices start at $200. The smartphone isn't particularly impressive, but it's affordable, slim, and has a long-lasting battery.
