Crosscall has introduced two smartphones for winter sports enthusiasts. The inspiration behind the new models is clear from their names: Crosscall Stellar-M6 Chamonix Mont Blanc and Crosscall Stellar-X5S Chamonix.
Both models feature a rugged design and an attractive style inspired by Alpine skiing. The smartphones feature white back panels and a MIL-STD 810H durability rating and IP68 waterproof rating. Both also have "regular," graphite-gray counterparts – the Crosscall Stellar-X5S and the Crosscall Stellar-M6. Technically, there's no difference, but the "ski" versions have a much more interesting style.
Technically, the Crosscall Stellar-X5S Chamonix looks more interesting. It has a 6.5-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 510 nits of brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It's equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm QCM5430 processor clocked at up to 2.1 GHz, 8GB of memory, and a 4500 mAh battery. Importantly, the smartphone supports eSIM, has a solid flashlight, and also has a passable 16-megapixel selfie camera, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera. The smartphone launches with Android 15, but will be updated up to Android 18.

Crosscall Stellar-M6 Chamonix Mont Blanc is a simpler, yet smaller model. It has a 6.1-inch HD+ screen with 450 nits of brightness and a 2.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Dragonwing QCM4490 processor with 6GB of memory. This model also launches with Android 15, but will eventually see Android 20. Power remains a 4500 mAh battery, but there are only two cameras left: an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel rear camera. As a consolation, there's still an eSIM, push-to-talk, and three customizable buttons.

Although these smartphones aren't impressively equipped, they may be appealing, but as "themed" models, they're not the cheapest. The Crosscall Stellar-M6 Chamonix Mont Blanc costs £420, while the Crosscall Stellar-X5S Chamonix costs £630. Not a small price, but stylish looks on the Alpine slopes come at a price. The standard versions cost the same...
