After the unofficial announcement of the budget Samsung, the time has come for the official launch. What will the Galaxy A07 5G offer?
Samsung doesn't exactly spoil us with capacious batteries, but the affordable Galaxy A07 5G is a notable exception. The battery in the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G – although a budget smartphone – has a capacity of a whopping 6000 mAh. Such batteries are rare in the Korean giant's lineup. Unfortunately, the battery charges at a typical 25W output for this brand. Beyond that, it's completely typical for budget smartphones...

The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G has a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a decent 800 nits of brightness. The smartphone's heart is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, which is accompanied by only 4GB of RAM, but internal storage is a paltry 64GB or a more manageable 128GB, plus space for a microSD card. The cameras are equally basic: the front is 8MP, the rear 50MP, and a 2MP background blur function. The smartphone runs One UI 8.0, and interestingly, despite its low RAM, the manufacturer promises six updates and six years of security support. This is unique in this class of smartphone, but I wonder how later versions of Android will cope with the limited memory... It also includes a minijack, and the housing – available in two colors – is IP54-rated. The styling is typical Samsung, and the device is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 199 grams. In the Philippines, the price – depending on internal memory – is the equivalent of $140 or $170. Of course, there's also the Galaxy A07 4G model – but it has a different processor, a smaller battery, and a lower screen refresh rate.
