Samsung has unveiled an Olympic edition of its Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 smartphone, designed for the Winter Olympics.

The 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina will take place from February 2-22, and nearly 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians from 90 countries will participate. Each of them will receive a themed Flip – but beyond that, the smartphone will not be widely distributed. This is therefore a rather large, yet unique, edition of this model. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition differs from the standard Flip only in the color of the casing, which features the Olympic logo. The smartphone also has unique wallpapers and dedicated apps for athletes. For example, Athlete365 offers support for performance and mental health and provides key competition information, while the Galaxy Athlete Card enables digital profile exchange and participation in interactive activities. The smartphone also comes pre-installed with the official Olympic app, and additional apps, IOC Hotline and PinQuest, support daily organization in the Olympic Village and assist athletes both during and outside the competition. Additionally, each athlete will receive an eSIM card with a 100GB data plan. With the Victory Selfie project, athletes can capture their achievements with their teammates and instantly share them with loved ones and fans around the world, inviting them to share in this special moment. To capture this broader context and highlight the athletes' experiences, Samsung is presenting Victory Profile – a new storytelling initiative in collaboration with nine National Olympic Committees. The project is based on carefully selected portraits taken with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

As a reminder: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 has a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2520 px with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a secondary 4.1-inch display with a resolution of 948 x 1048 px, and an IP48-rated housing. The smartphone is powered by an Exynos 2500 processor and has a 4300 mAh battery that charges at 25W. The phone also supports inductive charging. The smartphone also features a 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel selfie camera.
