Xiaomi has launched a unique version of its tablet, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Harry Potter, in the Chinese market. It combines modern technology with the aesthetics of the wizarding world. The device attracts attention with its blue finish, proudly displaying the Hogwarts logo.
This model comes with a rich set of themed accessories, including a dedicated protective case, a carrying case with a strap, stickers, and a unique stylus shaped like a wizard's wand with a replaceable tip.
The device is based on the standard Redmi Pad 2 Pro, which debuted globally in September last year. The heart of the device is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, manufactured using a 4nm process, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. Images are presented on a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring ultra-smooth animations. The screen boasts 600 nits of brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
Long battery life is guaranteed by a powerful 12,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. Four Dolby Atmos- and Hi-Res Audio-certified speakers provide an immersive audio experience. The tablet also features two 8MP cameras – one on the rear panel and the other, an ultra-wide-angle camera, on the front.
The whole thing runs the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 operating system. The price of this magical edition in China is 2,599 yuan, which is about 500 yuan more than the standard variant, but there is currently no information about planned sales of this edition outside of China.
