A few days ago, Dreame introduced its first smartphones. We also had a teaser for the luxury Aurora series, but not much was revealed. Today we know – it's going to be luxurious and probably not the cheapest…
In Poland, Dreame introduced three smartphones – two rather inexpensive, but there was also a high-end model – the Dreame RS1, which turned out to be the Nubia Z80 Ultra in disguise. Next door, however, we saw another Nubia—this one with a gold casing, and during the presentation, another model, with an even more luxurious design, appeared on the screen. Today, we know more about it. This smartphone will be available in two variants—Aurora Phoenix and Aurora Golden Dragon. As the name suggests, one features a dragon, the other a phoenix. The leakster who published the photos claims that the back panels of the models shown are plated with real gold and studded with precious stones. These aren't cheap items—and you shouldn't expect the presented smartphones to be cheap. Technically, I suspect both models are also based on the Nubia Z80 Ultra, just like the Dreame RS1, which I saw in person. In other words, it will combine high-end specifications with an expensive chassis. However, Dreame will most likely target the Aurora series exclusively at the Chinese market, where it will certainly find buyers.
