The new mid-range phones Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite have debuted in India. Aside from the attractive Passion Red color, the smartphones don't necessarily stand out from the competition, but their specifications are hard to fault.
When designing the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite, the manufacturer focused on attractive housing colors, although the smartphones' styling is very simple. Both feature flat-walled casings with IP68 and IP69 water resistance ratings, run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and six years of support, and feature 6500 mAh batteries with 90-watt charging. Both feature the same 6.59-inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 2750x1260 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 5000 nits of brightness, as well as LPDDR5X and UFS 4.1 memory. The smartphones also share cameras. The setup starts with 50-megapixel selfie cameras with f/2.0 apertures, a 92-degree field of view, and autofocus, while the main rear cameras are also 50-megapixel, but with f/1.88 apertures and optical image stabilization. There are also 8-megapixel wide-angle cameras (f/2.2) and 50-megapixel cameras with 3x telephoto lenses and f/2.65 apertures – also with OIS.
