A new model from the iQOO brand has gone on sale in India. The iQOO 15R smartphone offers quite powerful specifications and a unique look.
The iQOO 15R's unique style is primarily due to the unique camera lens arrangement in the square island on the back, but the smartphone can also be distinguished by its interesting pattern on one of the two color variants. The phone also deserves praise for its sensible hardware configuration, which includes a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 3200 Hz touchscreen. The display is HDR10+ certified, offers a range of eye-care options, and has adjustable brightness from 1 to 5000 nits. An ultrasonic fingerprint reader is located beneath the screen. At the heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, supported by LPDDR5X Ultra and UFS 4.1 memory, an additional Q2 performance coprocessor, and a separate chip for connectivity. The processor is cooled by a dedicated 6.5K Ice Core VC solution.

The smartphone runs Android 16 with Origin OS 6, will receive four system updates, and will receive six years of security patch support. It also features an infrared transmitter, and the casing is IP68 and IP69 rated. The Indian offering includes three memory variants:
