The new POCO C85x has arrived in India. It's an affordable smartphone with a large size and a large battery.
POCO C85x is supposed to be affordable, so the specifications are rather lacking in bells and whistles – we have a basic setup, but in a rather large format. The smartphone has a 6.9-inch display, but unfortunately only in HD+ resolution. As a consolation, there's a 120 Hz refresh rate, 660 nits typical brightness, 810 nits peak brightness, and eye-friendly certifications. The heart of the smartphone is undemanding – it's powered by a Unisoc T8300 processor, supported by 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 4 GB of virtual RAM, and 64 or 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable with a microSD card.

The device also includes an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 32-megapixel rear camera with background blur. Power is provided by a 6300 mAh battery with 15-watt charging and 7.5-watt reverse charging. There's also an FM radio, a minijack output, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The 171.56 x 79.47 x 8.15 mm casing is IP52-rated and available in three colors. The smartphone weighs 210 g. The device is available on Flipkart for 11,000 and 12,000 rupees, respectively, for the 4+64 and 4+128 GB variants. Converting the prices to $120 and $130.
