The mid-range smartphone Vivo T5x debuts in India today, boasting rather average specifications, with one notable exception – a large battery.
The new model is a close equivalent of the already known iQOO Z11x. Vivo T5x is equipped with a 7200 mAh battery with 44-watt charging, reverse power supply, and a declared lifespan of 6 years. At the heart of the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor, supported by LPDDR4X and UFS 3.1 memory and virtual RAM. The operating system is Android 16 with the Origin OS 6.0 interface and a 50-month smoothness promise. However, I haven't found any information about the length of support...

Vivo T5x has a 6.76-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and brightness of up to 1200 nits. The camera setup is quite modest, featuring a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main camera with background blur. The manufacturer has provided only one aperture value, f/2.45, and unfortunately, I have no idea which camera it refers to. However, it looks too weak for a main camera or selfie camera, so it likely refers to the 2-megapixel portrait lens. The smartphone has stereo speakers, and its plastic casing, available in two colors, is IP68 and IP69 rated. The smartphone measures 166.64 x 78.43 x 8.39 mm and weighs 219 g. The following memory variants will be available:
- 6+128 GB - 19,000 rupees, $210
- 8+128 GB - 21,000 rupees, $230
- 8+256 GB - 23,000 rupees, $250
