The POCO X8 series has launched. That battery is impressive!

POCO X8 Pro Max debuts as the first smartphone powered by the latest Dimensity 9000 series processor, the Dimensity 9500s, achieving a score of 3,085,998 on the popular AnTuTu benchmark. This processor is built using the 3nm process, operating in a 4+4 All Big Core design with a maximum clock speed of up to 3.73 GHz, supported by LPDDR5X 9600 Mbps memory and UFS 4.1 storage, providing a 25% increase in GPU performance and lower power consumption. Furthermore, both models support hardware ray tracing, which deepens the gaming experience with more realistic lighting and reflections. In addition to these components, the series integrates the WildBoost Optimization system, which intelligently predicts the processing power requirements for each frame, preventing frame drops. WildBoost supports features such as Smart Frame Rate, Super Resolution 1.5K, 24x touch sampling¹, and Game HDR¹. The LiquidCool Technology cooling system completes the package. The POCO X8 Pro Max is powered by the POCO 3D IceLoop system, with a massive 5800mm² liquid cooling surface, which lowers CPU temperatures by up to 3°C¹². The POCO X8 Pro utilizes a dual-layer 5300mm² 3D IceLoop system.

POCO X8 Pro Max boasts the brand's largest-ever 8500mAh battery, easily delivering up to 2 days of battery life on a single charge. It retains over 80% of its capacity even after 1600 charging cycles, equivalent to about six years of regular use. The POCO X8 Pro houses an upgraded 6500mAh silicon-carbon cell, and the entire lineup offers 100W HyperCharge and 27W reverse charging. The POCO X8 Pro Max features a 6.83-inch screen, while the POCO X8 Pro has a 6.59-inch screen. Both achieve peak brightness of up to 3500 nits. The use of M10 panels with a new red luminescent material increases light efficiency while using less energy. The screens support 3840 Hz PWM dimming and are triple-certified by TÜV Rheinland, reducing eye fatigue. The POCO X8 Pro Max also offers an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. Symmetrical 1115F speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos are responsible for sound. New features include a 400% volume mode for listening to content in open spaces and a quiet night mode.

The POCO X8 Pro Max has a metal frame and a fiberglass back. Both models feature narrow bezels and a racetrack-inspired camera island with a dynamic RGB ring that responds to notifications, charging, and games. In terms of durability, both smartphones feature Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and IP68 dust and water resistance. The POCO X8 Pro Max also received a 5-star SGS Premium Performance certification. For the X8 series, POCO is deepening its partnership with Marvel with the launch of the POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition. The elegant chassis, inspired by one of Stark Industries' black and gold armors, is adorned with gold accents. Superhero fans will appreciate that the flash doubles as the Arc Reactor, which also adorns Tony Stark's chest. The design is complemented by a dedicated Iron Man-themed UI. The POCO X8 Pro Max is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony Light Fusion 600 camera with a 1/1.95" sensor, f/1.5 aperture, and optical image stabilization, as well as an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The POCO X8 Pro has cameras with the same specs, although the main sensor is the Sony IMX882 model, still 1/1.95" in size, with OIS and an f/1.5 aperture. The Iron Man Edition also features the same camera setup.

Powered by Xiaomi HyperOS 3, the POCO X8 series offers an intelligent and connected experience. Xiaomi HyperConnect ensures seamless collaboration between devices, and Xiaomi HyperIsland supports live activities. AI features are supported by Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
