Vivo today unveiled its flagship camera smartphone, Vivo X300 Ultra, alongside the more affordable Vivo X300s model.

Vivo X300 Ultra

Vivo X300 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and LPDDR5X Ultra Pro and UFS4.1 memory. Power is provided by a 6600 mAh battery with 100-watt charging and 40-watt induction. The front is occupied by a flat, 6.82-inch display made with LTPO Ultra technology and operating at 2K resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The screen is Zeiss Master Color and Ultra XDR certified, and audio is provided by powerful stereo speakers and four microphones. The list of features also includes a multi-axis vibration mechanism and the option to control selected functions by tapping the back of the device. Vivo X300 Ultra features two 200-megapixel cameras: a main camera with an f/1.85 aperture and a 35mm focal length, and a periscopic telephoto lens (f/2.67) – both with optical image stabilization, of course. The equipment also includes two cameras with 50-megapixel sensors – a wide-angle (f/2.0) and a selfie (f/2.45). Vivo X300 Ultra films in 4K at up to 120 fps, and the camera package is complemented by a colour sensor. The following memory variants are available:

  • 12 + 256 GB - 6999 yuan, 1015 USD
  • 12 + 512 GB - 7499 yuan, 1085 USD
  • 16 + 512 GB - 7999 yuan, 1160 USD
  • 16 GB + 1 TB - 8999 yuan, 1305 USD

Vivo X300s

Vivo X300s is a cheaper alternative to flagship models - but not a worse one. This smartphone has a flat, 6.78-inch AMOLED Q10+ display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, and – like the ultra-flagship described above – an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and an X-axis vibration sensor. Like the top model, it also has a housing with a metal frame, sealed to an IP68/IP69 rating. Vivo X300s is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Plus processor, combined with LPDDR5X Ultra and UFS4.1 memory, and powered by a 7100 mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W inductive charging. The smartphone also features a 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and an f/1.68 aperture. Furthermore, this model has three additional cameras with 50-megapixel sensors: wide-angle (f/2.0), telephoto (f/2.57), and selfie (f/2.0). The manufacturer offers additional teleconverters for both launch smartphones, extending the focal length of the telephoto lenses. The Vivo X300s is available in the following versions:

  • 12+256GB - 4999 yuan, $725
  • 12+512GB - 5499 yuan, $800
  • 16+512GB - 5999 yuan, $870
  • 16GB + 1TB - 6999 yuan, $1015
