The budget smartphone Lava Bold N2 recently launched in a slightly more feature-rich Lava Bold N2 Pro, and now it's joined by a more modest variant, Lava Bold N2 Lite.
Lava Bold N2 Lite is a device very similar to the standard Lava Bold N2, both in appearance and specifications. The color options, the shape, and the position of the flash on the camera bay have changed, and the memory is more modest – 3 GB of RAM, expandable by 3 GB of virtual RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage. Other than that, it's familiar – the processor is a Unisoc SC9863A offering 4G connectivity, the operating system is Android 15 Go, the display is a 6.75-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a 90 Hz refresh rate, the battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and charges at 10W, and there's a 13 MP main camera and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera.
The more modest variant also comes with a correspondingly lower price. The Lava Bold N2 Lite will be available on Amazon India for 6,999 rupees (approximately $76, €65), and buying two smartphones will get you an additional 500 rupees off. There are two colors to choose from - Kolar Gold and dark blue Nilgiri Blue.
