Light Phone, known for its minimalist LightOS operating system and the equally minimalist Light Phone 3, has unveiled its latest product: the flip phone Light Flip Phone.
Light Flip Phone is a unique design in every respect. It's a phone for lovers of digital detox, in line with the current trend. The phone stands out for its interestingly designed, angular casing and lack of an external screen. To avoid distraction, only the notification LED is visible on the outside. The Light Flip utilizes all existing LightOS tools, including T9 dictionary, voice-to-text, and audio messaging. Available tools include an alarm, calculator, calendar, phone book, directions, router, music player, notes, weather, and a timer. The device also offers nine speed dial buttons. The phone has a 2.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 460x460 pixels, and a MediaTek MT8873 processor with a 5G modem, supported by 6+128 GB of memory.

Light Flip Phone also has an 1800 mAh battery, a mini jack, stereo speakers, and eSIM support. The housing is made of plastic, but it comes in six color options and is IP54-rated. The device costs $299. US customers can order it now from the manufacturer, but the first deliveries won't be until next year.
