Another unassuming-looking smartphone boasts a battery twice as large as the 5000 mAh standard a year ago. What else does the Oppo A7 Pro Max offer and at what price?
The new mid-range smartphone partially echoes the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max in its name, orange color, and shape, but the rounded lower edge of the camera island, the different lens arrangement, and the wavy pattern on the casing give it a distinctive look. In terms of specifications, the Oppo A7 Pro Max also easily stands out thanks to its 10,000 mAh battery, charging at 80W and allowing the smartphone to be used as a power bank thanks to 27W reverse wired charging. The smartphone isn't thick, but it's not particularly slim either – its dimensions are 162.98 x 77.97 x 8.57 mm, and it weighs between 224 and 226 g, depending on the variant.
The remaining specifications of the Oppo A7 Pro Max are more average, but they shouldn't disappoint either. Its screen is a 6.78-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 1272 x 2772 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1800 nits, and an optical fingerprint reader. It's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor, and features a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2 MP monochrome camera, and a 50 MP f/2.0 front-facing selfie camera with autofocus.
