POCO M8, POCO M8s 5G, and POCO M8 Pro have just been joined by a third, relatively modest model with one major advantage.
The name POCO M8 Power speaks for itself – it's a smartphone with an above-average 8000 mAh battery, charging at 45W and supporting reverse charging at 22.5W. The manufacturer claims that the battery capacity is enough for 28 hours of movie watching, 14 hours of gaming, 31 hours of social media use, 11 hours of navigation, or 38 days of standby time. It's worth noting, however, that this isn't the only smartphone in this series with an attractive battery – the POCO M8s 5G has a 7000 mAh battery capacity and can charge at 33W, so it fares only slightly worse in this regard. The entry-level POCO M8 and POCO M8 Pro have less impressive batteries, but they surpass the POCO M8 Power in other respects.
The remaining specifications of the POCO M8 Power, while modest, are adequate for its price range. Its display is a 6.9-inch AMOLED with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, and it's paired with 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable via microSD card. The Android 16 operating system with HyperOS 3 offers 4 years of updates and 6 years of security patches, and it features a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP front-facing selfie camera.

The POCO M8 Power will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting August 7th, and prices for each variant are already known. Black, orange, and green color options are available, along with two memory options. The POCO M8 Power with 6 GB of RAM costs 24,999,000 rupees ($263, €227), while the 8+128 GB version costs 27,999,000 rupees. rupees ($295, €255).
