Huawei's new mid-range smartphone boasts a less impressive battery than the similarly-looking Honor Power2, but it still has a lot of strengths.
We've already seen Huawei Nova 16 SE in leaks, and now the official Huawei store is clearing up any doubts. The new smartphone features a wave-like design with a two-tone gradient similar to Huawei Pura 90s Pro, as well as an above-average 8500 mAh battery with 66W fast charging. Another strong point of Huawei Nova 16 SE is its 6.84-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 8000 nits and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Huawei Nova 16 SE is powered by the Kirin 8020 processor, and is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of internal storage, and the HarmonyOS 6.1 operating system. For photos, it features a 50 MP main camera, a 1.5 MP colour sensor, and a 32 MP front-facing selfie camera. The smartphone also offers two-way satellite connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, a fingerprint reader on the side button, and IP65 waterproofing.
Huawei Nova 16 SE is available in Starry Night Black, Sky White, Cherry Blossom Snow Sky, and Dawn Orange, as well as two storage options. Huawei Nova 16 SE with 128 GB of storage is priced at 2,499 yuan ($370, €320), while the 256 GB version costs 2,699 yuan ($400, €345).
