Two new flagship Redmi smartphones, which we'll later recognize globally under the POCO brand, have just been launched in China. They offer improved performance, battery life, and cameras compared to their predecessors.
The Redmi K100 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V processor—a more modest variant of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, minus one graphics chip. It's accompanied by LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 internal storage, a proprietary D2 graphics chip, and a T1+ signal-amplifying chip. A 5150 mm² circulation pump provides cooling. The Redmi K100 Pro's battery has a capacity of 8580 mAh and charges at 100W. It also supports 50W inductive charging, 27W reverse wired charging, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging.
The Redmi K100 Pro boasts more than just performance and battery life. Its 6.59-inch flat OLED display has a resolution of 2510 x 1156, a peak brightness of 2200 nits, and a smooth 185 Hz refresh rate. For photos, it features a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 32MP selfie camera.

The Redmi K100 Pro Max is similar to the smaller version, but surpasses it in many respects – its processor is the full-size Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with a larger cooling pump with a surface area of 6300 mm², and the battery has also grown, with a capacity of The larger 9070 mAh variant.
Charging power and memory types are identical to the Pro model, but only the Redmi K100 Pro Max is available with 1 TB of storage. The Redmi K100 Pro Max also features a larger 6.9-inch screen with a resolution of 2608 x 1200 px and a 50 MP wide-angle camera.
Both smartphones are available in black, dark red, and white color variants. The Redmi K100 Pro is also available in light green, and the Redmi K100 Pro Max in sky blue. The prices for each memory variant are as follows:
