Without much fanfare, a new smartphone from the premier Redmi M series debuted in China. The Redmi M100 isn't exactly a flashy device – it's simply a budget-friendly device.
Redmi M100 is an affordable smartphone with a large 6.9-inch LCD screen, unfortunately with HD+ resolution. It does offer a 120 Hz refresh rate, though. Another consolation is its sizable battery – 7900 mAh, 45-watt charging, and 22.5-watt reverse power. The heart of the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor, supported by LPDDR4x and UFS 2.2 memory, and managed by Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. The smartphone has a modest 5-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel main camera, next to which is a multi-color notification LED. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint reader, NFC, and a minijack, and the housing is available in three colors. Although—as you can see—this is a very budget-friendly design, the proposed memory kits do not disappoint. Available versions:
