The wait wasn't long – the new TWS earphones from the affordable Nothing sub-brand have officially gone on sale, at an exceptionally low price.
The budget-friendly nature of the CMF Buds Neo comes with a few exceptions. The most disappointing feature may be the scroll wheel on the case, which, unlike a similar element on the CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF smartphones, serves a purely decorative purpose – although the two-tone color scheme of the new earphones makes its presence more prominent than usual.
The CMF Buds Neo offer fewer features than more expensive models, but their performance shouldn't disappoint. Each earphone has a 12.4 mm audio driver and two microphones that reduce noise by up to 35 dB, with three levels of reduction depending on the environment. The earbuds house a 45 mAh battery, good for 11 hours of music playback with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) turned off, while the 460 mAh battery in the case extends the battery life to 52 hours without ANC or 30 hours with ANC. A full charge via USB-C takes about 70 minutes. The earbuds can also connect to two devices simultaneously, and their touch controls can be configured in the Nothing X app.
