Vivo V80 Lite 5G - there will be two versions after all!

We didn't have to wait long for the new Vivo V80 Lite. Although it was supposed to be released on September 3rd, it debuted today!

The Vivo V80 Lite announcement published in Malaysia mentions a 10,000 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Vivo V80 Lite model presented by Vivo's Pakistani branch has a slightly smaller 7,050 mAh battery. The model presented in Pakistan is actually a clone of the Vivo S2 model already known from India. Meanwhile, the variant announced in Malaysia not only has a different battery but also a completely different appearance, suggesting that we'll be dealing with two different smartphones under the same name.

What does the Pakistani variant of the Vivo V80 Lite offer? In addition to the aforementioned large battery, which charges at 44W, this model is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor supported by LPDDR4x and UFS 3.1 memory, as well as Android 16 with OriginOS 6. The smartphone also features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3000 nits of brightness, with a punch-hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0). On the back, there's a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 camera (f/1.8), supported by a background blur and a ring LED flash. All of this is housed in a robust casing with military-grade MIL-STD-810H durability and IP68 and IP69 sealing. Two colour options are available – Sapphire Blue and Silk White – and two memory kits: 8+128GB and 8+256GB. They are priced at 125,000 and 146,000 rupees, respectively, which translates to approximately $450-525.
